Today we published the new-look for Emmanuel Church Bramcote.
The new website is intended to follow the same basic idea as the old version (to avoid confusion for the less web-savvy). But it has a fresh, new look with some new ideas.
The big developments include support for podcasting (using podpress) which enables church members and guests to access sermons through itunes and other programs. The interface is still very simple for those uploading the sermons, but the recordings are now more widely accessible.
The new websites also contains space for adverts and easily interacts with Google calendar. As time goes on we may add new features to increase the usefulness of the site.

A new church in Bramcote, Nottingham for which we have designed a website.
It is a website intended to attract attention and make it really easy for people to come to the church and get involved. The website is intended mostly for those who have already heard about the church and want to find out more, but we hope that everything is accessible for anyone to understand.
It includes all the basic pages that you could want in a website, with no limits on how big it could get. It provides links to good websites, sermon mp3s and information on all the different church groups.
It also includes a blog, which is set up to be updated by the church leaders, who can also edit all pages. The blog will contain the latest sermons, together with church news and other items pointing people further afield.
The calendar function enables church members to keep up with what’s happening at church. This calendar is also easy to link up with various home computers or pdas to enable the more technically-minded to keep up to date in different ways.
